From early childhood, Nina’s greatest joy was a set of watercolors, a box of colored pencils and coloring books.
As a teenager, she spent hours after school copying Michelangelo’s drawings, thus teaching herself how to “look and see” which is always a challenge in art.
Formal Art training at the New York Botanical Garden, planning to complete the curriculum for a Certificate in Botanical illustration..
Some designs reflect formal art training, others are Abstracts reflecting her enjoyment of freedom of expression in creative play with colors, shapes, rhythms and balance.
